Holding the tip and end, slightly bend the asparagus. It will break at the exact toughest spot. So, skip the knife cutting. This is perfect everytime.

If you like rice, and want to change it a little. Use broth instead of water. Add a little olive oil or butter to it. And, fry sparately in a drop of oil sliced fresh onions and fresh sliced garlic. . . . more

Easy does this one.
Take your left over mashed potatoes, and add salt, pepper, crushed seasoned stuffing to form a patty. Either deep fry, or fry in butter in the pan.
